Freight and customs, quick answers
- Do you handle freight into Australia?
- Yes. Sea freight, full container or shared container, and air freight are both available. We recommend the route that fits your urgency and your unit cost, and we consolidate across suppliers where it makes sense.
- Who handles customs clearance and duty?
- We do, as part of the same purchase order. That covers customs brokerage, import duties, GST, biosecurity treatment where required, and delivery to your site. We act as importer of record on the program.
- What paperwork do you prepare?
- The commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, certificates of origin under free trade agreements where they apply, material certificates and QC reports. We reconcile them before goods leave the origin port.
- How am I invoiced?
- You receive a single Australian invoice covering the landed cost, rather than separate bills from a freight forwarder, a customs broker and a duty assessment arriving weeks later.
- Where do you deliver?
- To your warehouse, workshop or job site anywhere in Australia.

Freight, Customs &
Delivery into Australia
Getting a part made overseas is half the job. We manage the freight, the customs clearance, the duty and GST, and the delivery to your door on the same purchase order, so you plan against one landed cost.
What is covered
Sea and air freight
We offer full container and shared container sea freight as well as air freight. The route we recommend is the one that suits your deadline and your unit economics, and where you are buying from more than one supplier we consolidate the shipment when it saves you money.
Customs, duty and GST
We act as importer of record on the program. Customs brokerage, import duties, GST and biosecurity treatment where it is required are handled by us. Duty depends on the product classification, its origin and the measures in force, so we confirm the position for your specific part when you brief us.
Documentation
The commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, certificates of origin under free trade agreements where they apply, material certificates and QC reports are prepared and reconciled before the goods leave the origin port. Problems found at the dock are expensive, so we look for them before departure.
Delivery and one invoice
Goods are delivered to your warehouse, workshop or job site anywhere in Australia. You receive a single Australian invoice covering the landed cost, instead of a quote that leaves out items you would otherwise pay later.
