- Which materials does GSN source most often?
- Carbon and tool steel, aluminium 6061/7075, stainless 304/316/316L, engineering plastics (nylon, ABS, POM, PP, PC, PE, PEEK), castings, forgings, fasteners and extrusion profiles.
- Can GSN source small quantities or only volume?
- Both. We work with mill-direct programs for volume and partner with regional stockists for low-MOQ requirements down to single bar / single sheet.
- Does GSN handle certification and test reports?
- Yes. EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates, chemical analysis and mechanical test reports are supplied where required.

Raw material sourcing is the procurement of base inputs, metals, plastics, castings, that go into your finished product. We hunt them globally, match them to your spec, certify them and land them in Australia.

Metals.
Structural and carbon steels, tool steels (D2, H13, P20, 4140), aluminium 6061 and 7075 in plate, billet and extrusion, stainless 304, 316 and 316L, duplex grades, copper, brass and nickel-based alloys (Inconel, Monel). Sourced direct from mills in Asia, Europe and North America. Mill test certificates supplied. Cut-to-length and pre-machined blanks available.
Engineering plastics.
Nylon (PA6, PA66, cast), ABS, POM (Delrin), polypropylene, polycarbonate, polyethylene (HDPE, UHMW), PVC and PEEK. Rod, sheet, tube and custom profiles. Suited to bearings, gears, wear strips, food-grade fittings and chemical-resistant components.
Castings & forgings.
Sand castings, investment castings, die castings and closed-die forgings in iron, steel, aluminium and bronze. Pattern and tool development managed end-to-end with first-article inspection before production release.
Fasteners, fittings & consumables.
Bolts, nuts, washers, anchors, hydraulic and pneumatic fittings, bearings, seals and OEM consumables. Sourced to AS/ISO/DIN/ANSI standards.
