What is Global Supply Network?

Global Supply Network (GSN) is a Sydney-based strategic procurement firm and the sourcing arm of Perfetti Engineering Pty Ltd. We act as an in-house procurement team for Australian businesses, sourcing raw materials and overseas manufacturing worldwide.

Global Supply Network is headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with a global network of vetted suppliers and manufacturers.

What does Global Supply Network do?

GSN sources raw materials (metals, engineering plastics, castings, fasteners) and manages overseas manufacturing (CNC machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting, 3D printing, assembly). We handle supplier vetting, tooling, samples, QC, freight, customs and final-mile delivery into Australia.

Can Global Supply Network manufacture in Australia?

Yes. Through sister business McIver Engineering (established 1947), part of Perfetti Engineering Pty Ltd, we offer in-house Australian CNC machining, fabrication, laser cutting, design and assembly in Sydney.

How is GSN different from a sourcing agent or import broker?

GSN is manufacturer-led, not a broker. Our group owns and operates a long-standing Australian manufacturing business, so we evaluate suppliers like engineers, by tolerances, materials, process capability, capacity, lead time and total landed cost.

Is GSN ISO 9001 certified?

GSN itself is not ISO 9001 certified. We work with a vetted network of ISO 9001 certified overseas manufacturers, and selected partners hold ISO 13485 for medical device production.

How does GSN manage quality on overseas orders?

For ongoing or higher-risk programs we put a Master Services Agreement in place defining inspection points and acceptance criteria. CMM dimensional reports and material certificates are available on request.

Who handles customs and duty into Australia?

GSN handles it 100%. Customs clearance, duties, GST and final-mile delivery anywhere in Australia are all managed by us. You receive a single Australian invoice.

Can GSN handle medical device or regulated work?

For ISO 13485 medical device parts, yes, through our certified supplier network. For programs requiring a certified prime contractor (for example flight-critical aerospace or implantable medical), GSN is not the right fit and we will say so upfront.
