About GSN, quick answers

Who is Global Supply Network?
Global Supply Network (GSN) is a Sydney-based procurement partner for Australian manufacturers. We run a vetted network of overseas suppliers, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified factories, with quality control matched to the part.
Who owns GSN?
GSN is the procurement arm of Perfetti Engineering Pty Ltd, an Australian engineering group that also owns McIver Engineering, a Sydney manufacturer established in 1947.
Why does ownership of an Australian manufacturer matter?
It means suppliers are evaluated by people who run their own factory floor: process capability, tolerances, materials, capacity. Not just price. And critical work has an onshore safety net.
Where does GSN operate?
Headquartered in Sydney, NSW. We source globally, primarily China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India and Europe, and supply primarily into Australia.
Is GSN ISO 9001 certified?
GSN itself is not ISO 9001 certified. We work with a vetted network of ISO 9001 certified overseas manufacturers, and selected partners hold ISO 13485 for medical device production.
How does GSN manage quality on overseas orders?
For ongoing or higher-risk programs we put a Master Services Agreement in place defining inspection points and acceptance criteria. CMM dimensional reports and material certificates are available on request.
Who handles customs and duty?
GSN handles it 100%. Customs clearance, duties, GST and final-mile delivery anywhere in Australia are all managed by us. You receive a single Australian invoice.
Can GSN handle medical device or regulated work?
For ISO 13485 medical device parts, yes, through our certified supplier network. For programs requiring a certified prime contractor (for example flight-critical aerospace or implantable medical), GSN is not the right fit and we will say so upfront.

We only take on projects we can build ourselves. If we wouldn't run it on our own floor, we won't run it for you.

GSN Operating Principle

/ Origin

From the factory floor.

We didn't start as brokers. We grew up inside a working manufacturing business, and that's shaped everything we do. Because we own and operate our own production facility through the Perfetti group, clients treat us as trusted advisors rather than middlemen. We've built our reputation consulting on Design for Manufacture, guiding product makers with the perspective only a manufacturer can offer. So we know exactly what good supply looks like, and what bad supply costs.

Today, GSN exists to give Australian product makers the same advantage our group has always enjoyed: a trusted, vetted, global supply chain, without the headcount. See the full range of services we deliver, or brief our team directly.

We only take on projects we can personally build, end to end. If we wouldn't run it ourselves, we won't run it for you.

Manufacturing.

Part of the Perfetti Group

Global Supply Network is part of Perfetti Engineering Pty Ltd. Need it built locally? Our in-house manufacturing service is delivered directly by the group. Same ownership, same team, same standard.

That's our advantage: we can credibly quote you offshore production, onshore production, or a hybrid, because we run both.

/ Quality & compliance

How we manage quality.

Manufacturer-led procurement means the quality conversation starts at the drawing, not at the inspection report. Here is what we put on the table.

  • Certified supplier network

Our overseas manufacturing partners include ISO 9001 certified factories, and selected partners hold ISO 13485 for medical device production.

  • Master Services Agreement, when the program warrants it

For ongoing or higher-risk programs we put an MSA in place defining inspection points, acceptance criteria and rework terms.

  • CMM dimensional reports

Available on request for machined and critical-tolerance parts.

  • Material traceability

EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates and material certificates available on request.

  • IP protection

Supplier NDAs signed before drawings leave our office.

  • Customs and duty, fully handled

We act as importer of record. 100% of customs clearance, duties, GST and final-mile delivery are managed by us. One Australian invoice, no surprises.

GSN itself is not ISO 9001 certified. For programs requiring a certified prime contractor (for example flight-critical aerospace or implantable medical), GSN is not the right fit and we will say so upfront.
