How we
work.
Short answers to the questions we get most often before a first brief.
What information helps us quote faster
A drawing or sketch, target quantities, the material grade if you know it, and the date you need parts in hand. STEP, IGES, PDF or even a photo of a hand sketch is enough to start. We will come back with questions, not a long form.
Typical response times
First reply within one business day, usually faster. A first-pass costing on a simple part takes one to three working days. Tooling-led programs and multi-component assemblies take longer because we scope properly before we quote.
What we source, and from where
Raw materials and finished parts from China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India and selected European partners. CNC, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting, 3D printing and assembly. Sensitive engineering work stays onshore through McIver Engineering in Sydney when that is the right call.
NDA and confidentiality
Mutual NDAs are available on request and signed before drawings move to any overseas partner. Early-stage iterations and prototypes can stay in Sydney while we lock the design.
Engineering review on every brief
Every brief is read by an engineer first, not a sales rep. That is how we catch tolerance bands that will blow out cost, or material specs that an overseas mill cannot guarantee, before you commit to a supplier.
